It is our last day at The Performance Improvement and KPIs Conference in Dubai and we are more than happy to end this premiering event on a positive note. We dedicated day 4 to our post conference workshops and we hope you were as excited as we were to choose and explore our three different tracks. We prepared for you a glimpse of the subjects we approached during this day.

POST CONFERENCE WORKSHOPS

  • KPI Essentials – Selection and Target Setting.

This workshop was facilitated by Teodora Gorski – Managing Director MENA, The KPI Institute, UAE. A session that provided professionals with a clear overview on the challenges of KPI management, KPI typologies and selection techniques as well as the necessary steps to enable measurement efficiency.

  • Managing Healthcare Performance.

Presented by Mihai Toma, the Head of Professional Services at The KPI Institute, UAE, this workshop was designed to enable a smart, data-based decision making process, display the importance of a performance culture, improve communication amongst team members and teach participants how to manage strategic changes by using the right key performance tools.

  • Key Techniques for Successfully Implementing a Balanced Scorecard.

This session was facilitated by Maitham Aloraibi, Management Consultant at The KPI Institute and it offered participants the chance to acquire a deeper understanding of the value and functionality of the Balanced Scorecard Management System. It also addressed BSC architecture standardization, KPIs and strategy in alignment with relevant objectives.

It’s day three at the Performance Improvement and KPIs Conference and we are ready to begin the Key Performance Indicators Excellence Forum. Now every participant has the chance to engage in any of the eight different business performance improvement scenarios – the perfect opportunity to acquire a complex overview on performance improvement.

We are diving into the subject of performance benchmarking in practice and we are taking a practical approach to functional area performance by aligning departmental KPI tracking to organizational strategy.

Another hot topic is Big Data, it’s integration and reporting. What you also need to know is that our panel discussion is focused on the GCC countries this time, analysing the state of performance improvement and KPIs, based on geographically customized inputs.

Last, but not least, we are learning how to manage performance and risk in an increasing higher education sector and we are discussing the challenges that you need to overcome as a performance management professional in a highly complex business environment.

The second day at the Performance Improvement and KPIs Conference in Dubai comes with three different performance streams: Government, Healthcare and Performance Excellence. This means that every participant is able to choose their preferred stream based on individual interests.   • Government Performance Forum

This stream is focusing on government performance in UAE, adressing strategy formulation, decision making, process architecture or reporting challenges. The sessions provide participants with a more clear overview on managing government performance by engaging them into case studies, simulations and trend analysis.

  • Healthcare Performance Forum

The Healthcare stream will shed more light on the performance measurement and management systems in the healthcare industry. We are discussing the automation of performance management systems and the solutions enabling you to translate strategy into productive results. We are also addressing the challenges of healthcare performance through case studies, benchmarks and practical insights from the GCC Hospitals.

  • Performance Excellence Forum

The third stream starts with a session on Strategy Dynamics Business Models and it continues with a focus on innovation and digitalization. We are learning how to boost performance through creating a performance culture and, as usual we are analysing trends, developments and the challenges that professionals undergo in today’s dynamic business environment.
